Parent-School Discussion Night
We invite all parents and caregivers to join us on Thursday from 6:30–8:00 PM for our Parent-School Discussion Night.
This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about our school, hear about upcoming initiatives, ask questions about learning and school programs, and share your perspectives.
Your voice and partnership are important to us. This evening is a great way to stay informed, connected, and engaged in our school community.
We look forward to seeing you there!
New: Video Surveillance at Elboya
Our school has a new video surveillance system to help maintain a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and the public, and to help address vandalism and criminal activity on school property.
The video surveillance system is installed and reviewed in accordance with Administrative Regulation 1066. Personal information is collected under the authority of the Education Act and the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA), specifically Section 10(1), and the Access to Information Act (ATIA).
This technology may be placed in areas such as the school parking lot, building entrances and exits, stairwells, and hallways. Information is recorded and collected to help maintain a safe and secure environment in the school and on school property.
The users of this information are the principal or designate and law enforcement personnel in the case of reported incidents requiring an investigation. Only authorized persons will review video surveillance information.
Inquiries concerning the video surveillance system or the collection and use of recorded information may be directed to the school office.
Fun Lunch – Tomorrow!
Tomorrow is our first Fun Lunch of the school year, and we are very short on volunteers. We need some parents to step up and help!
It's only an hour, and without some help, it's very difficult to make Fun Lunch happen. Please sign up to volunteer and enjoy seeing your student and their friends.

Yearbook News
AW CAW! This is the final call for Yearbook Early-Bird Pricing!
Our Early-Bird (or should we say Early-Falcon) price is $37.50 until October 23. After that, the price increases to $39.50, and no amount of distressed flapping can bring it back down.
Order your 2026–2027 Elboya Yearbook and secure your favourite memories before they migrate. The friendships. The questionable haircuts. The photo you will spend the next decade explaining.

Remembrance Day Assembly: Family Photo Contributions
As we prepare for our Remembrance Day assemblies, we invite families to share photographs of veterans and service members from their families, or loved ones they would like to honour.
These photos will be included in a special slideshow during our assemblies as we come together to remember and recognize those who have served.
If you would like to contribute, please email your photos to Mme Christina Cameron at chcameron@cbe.ab.ca. If possible, please include your loved one's name and their connection to your family.
Thank you for helping us make our Remembrance Day assemblies meaningful and personal for our school community.
