We will be continuing our celebration of learning this week with the Grade 6-9 Band Concerts on Wednesday evening.  We look forward to seeing families come out to support our budding and talented musicians.  December is a hectic month where students continue to juggle academic/athletic responsibilities as well as seasonal festivities.   Students are tired and are looking forward to the break.  We are proud of our students accomplishments so far this year and are encouraging them to hang in there for these next couple of weeks.  A few suggestions on how parents can support their student at this time of year: ensure sleep is a priority, technology is screened and PowerSchool is frequently checked.

Winter Market

We will be holding a Winter Market in the Small Gym December 11 - 14th over the lunch hour where the Students will be selling a variety of candy, freeze dried candies and handmade jewelry items. Students are encouraged to bring cash to the gymnasium and help support our young entrepreneurs. To handle traffic flow, we will be having Grade 7-9 students shop on Monday at lunch. Grade 1-6 students will shop on Tuesday at lunch. Sales will continue on Wed and Thurs while supplies last.  All proceeds from the Winter Market will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Veterans Food Drive

We are still accepting donations until December 20.  Many thanks to families that have already sent in their donations.

Lost and Found

Please remind your child(ren) to check the lost and found prior to the last day of school on December 22 or drop in and check.  Any remaining items after this date will be donated to a local charity.

Digital Citizenship Resources

Teaching responsible digital citizenship equips students with the essential skills to navigate the online world safely and responsibly. Just as we guide students when we’re together, fostering positive habits online ensures they become conscientious, respectful, and responsible digital citizens, promoting a positive and secure digital environment for all.  Check out these websites to equip you in engaging in conversations with your student(s).
