BBQ – Thank You!

Thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed the BBQ and the amazing weather last night!

A HUGE THANK YOU to all our BBQ volunteers who took time out of their evening to help set up, distribute tickets, cook, serve and clean up. It is a big job to host a BBQ for over 750 people, so thank you for pitching in and helping to make it all run so smoothly!

Parent Room Reps – Volunteers Needed

We are looking for parents to volunteer to be classroom reps. Classroom reps assemble contact information from parents to help share information from the teacher and School Council regarding upcoming council events, volunteer opportunities and other school news.

For elementary students, reps are needed for each of the following classes:

• Grade 4/5
• Grade 5 French
• Grade 6 English and Continuing French

For junior high students, reps are needed for each grade and program:

• Grade 7 English, late French immersion and continuing French Immersion (3 required)
• Grade 8 English, late French immersion and continuing French Immersion (3 required)
• Grade 9 English and French immersion (2 required)

If you would like to volunteer, please email Lisa at elboyaschool.chair@gmail.com with your child’s grade and teacher and/or program. You will then receive more instruction on next steps.

Fun Lunches

Fun Lunches for all students will be returning in October! Please keep an eye out for the schedule. We will also need volunteers to help deliver and serve the meals. Don’t forget to ensure your volunteer clearance is up to date!
