Staff Appreciation Event– Collecting Donations Now

Every year the School Council raises money from school families to help us recognize the contributions of Elboya Staff by way of a staff lunch and gift.

This event is for teachers, administration, and support staff (office staff, lunch supervisors, custodians, etc.) who work with our children daily and have such a significant impact on their lives. After a long school year, it’s a nice way to show the parent community’s support and say a big “Thank You!”

If you would like to contribute, you can send your donation via e-transfer to: elboyafundraising@gmail.com. Put "staff appreciation" in the Message field.

We are also looking for volunteers to be on the planning committee for this event – if you would like to help with arranging the lunch and gift, please contact Lisa at elboyaschool.chair@gmail.com.

Open Council Positions

With the transition of grades K-3 to Windsor Park School, we are losing some of our amazing volunteers (but hopefully they will be back in a few years!). In the meantime, we need some parents to step up and take on some roles in council. Open executive positions include:

·         Fundraising Society President

·         Secretary

·         Treasurer

We are also looking for some people to:

·         Help organize the Welcome Back BBQ next September

·         Run the apple fundraiser (sales begin the first week of school so requires some work in late August)
