CANCELLED - Child Wellness Seminars – May 29
The Elboya School Council has decided to cancel the wellness seminars scheduled for next Thursday due to low registrations. We hope to reschedule these sessions in the fall.
Staff Appreciation – Collecting Donations
Every year the School Council raises money from school families to help us recognize the contributions of Elboya Staff by way of a staff lunch and gift. This event is for teachers, administration, and support staff (there are 44 staff members at Elboya) who work with our children daily and have such a significant impact on their lives. After a long school year, it’s a nice way to show the parent community’s support and say a big “Thank You!”
If you would like to contribute, you can send your donation via e-transfer to: elboyafundraising@gmail.com. Put "staff appreciation" in the Message field.
We are also looking for volunteers to be on the planning committee for this event – if you would like to help with arranging the lunch and gift, please contact Lisa at elboyaschool.chair@gmail.com.
Band Bottle Drive – TOMORROW! – May 24
The next bottle drive is tomorrow Saturday May 24. Bring all your empties to the school parking lot between 10 am and 12 noon. All proceeds go towards a great cause - supporting Elboya’s band program!
Grade 9 Farewell -Ticket Sales
Tickets for the grade 9 Farewell Event are now available on https://healthyhunger.ca/ Tickets are available until May 31 (that’s just a week away!) so get yours today! Casino Update
The Fundraising Society is pleased to announce that we have received our payment from the casino that our volunteers worked at in January. Elboya’s share of the proceeds was: $82,995.30. Thanks again to everyone who participated – your volunteerism really does make a difference! Our next casino slot is Q4 2026.
