The Elboya School Council would like to wish all Elboya families a happy summer break! We hope you will be able to take some time to rest, recharge and create some fun family memories!

A big farewell to those families who are leaving us after this school year. Good luck to all our departing students, especially the grade 9's who are starting their next big adventure in high school!

Staff Appreciation

Thank you to everyone who donated to the Staff Appreciation luncheon and gift. Last Wednesday lunch from Gruman’s Deli was brought in for the staff and each staff member was presented with $65 in gift cards from Cadillac Fairview (Chinook Centre) and Indigo Books.

A big thanks also to Kate A. who did the planning for the lunch and Silvia P. and Susan V. who came out to help run the setup and cleanup.

Thank You! Fun Lunch Volunteers

Thank you to all the parents who volunteered and came out to help serve food at the many fun lunches and pizza lunches that were held throughout the year. These lunches could not have happened without you!

A special tip of the hat to our amazing fun lunch organizer Magda D.!! Magda puts in a tremendous amount of time planning and being the point person for these lunches and it is very much appreciated by our school community (kids and parents alike).

2026-2027 School Year Events

Apple Fundraiser and Welcome Back BBQ

Our popular apple fundraiser will happen once again in September. Look for order information at the very start of school and order your boxes of delicious orchard fresh BC apples. These will be available for pickup on the same evening as our traditional Welcome Back BBQ / Meet the Teacher event on September 24th.

Casino Dates – November 3 and 4

The Elboya School Fundraising Society is happy to announce that we have received our casino dates for the next school year. Our society has been assigned November 3 and 4th at Cowboys Casino. Volunteer information will be sent out early in the 2026-2027 school year. This is the Fundraising Society’s biggest fundraiser (the last casino brought in approximately $85,000 for the school) and will require many volunteers to make it a success.
