Staff Appreciation Event– Last Call for Donations

Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the staff appreciation lunch and gift! If you are still wanting to donate, please send your donations in by end of day Sunday.

Send donations via e-transfer to elboyafundraising@gmail.com. Put "staff appreciation" in the Message field.

All donations go towards our staff appreciation luncheon and gift which is for all staff at Elboya (did you know there are 53 staff at the school?). It is a way for the parent community to show our appreciation for all that the staff do for our kids during the school year. This year we will be hosting a lunch for staff on June 18 and buying gift cards for all staff members.

Staff Appreciation – Volunteers Needed

We could still use a few people to help set up, serve and clean up next Wednesday (the 18) when we have the lunch. Shifts are:

·         Setup:  10:30 – 11:30

·         Serving: 11:30 – 1 pm

·         Cleanup: 1:15 – 2 pm

BBQ Volunteer Needed

We will once again be hosting our Welcome Back BBQ in September. We have one organizer in place, but it would be nice to get a second person to help with the planning / logistics / setup on the day of etc.  If you are interested, please contact Lisa @ elboyaschool.chair@gmail.com.

Open Council Position

With the transition of grades K-3 to Windsor Park School, we are losing some of our amazing volunteers (but hopefully they will be back in a few years!). In the meantime, we need some parents to step up and take on some roles in council. Open executive positions include:

·         Fundraising Society President

·         Secretary

·         Treasurer
