Band Bottle Drive – TOMORROW
Don’t forget to drop off your empty bottles and cans in the school parking lot tomorrow (Saturday) between 10 am and noon. All proceeds from the donations go towards Elboya School’s band program.
Family Dance – Thank You!
Thanks to all the families that came out last week to participate in our Family Dance! A good time was had by all.
Thank you also to all the volunteers who helped with setup, running the various stations and cleanup! Events like this do not happen without parental participation. A special tip of the hat goes to our dance organizers Beckie Sparrow and Chelsea Erhardt who put together an amazing community event. Thank you for all your hard work!
Wine Raffle – Wine Collection Continues
Thank you to everyone who has already donated wine and money towards our wine raffle! We are accepting bottles of wine (or cash if you prefer) to fill up our wine collection to be raffled off in the spring! Please see the attached form for how to donate.
How the wine raffle works:
- Wine Collection -
We request your support by donating a bottle (or bottles) of wine valued at a minimum of $30. Alternatively, you may contribute $25 or more towards the purchase of wine. Your generous donations will be collected from February 12 to March 14. See the attached flyer for donation details – NOTE: WINE DROPOFF LOCATIONS HAVE CHANGED (SEE FLYER).
- Wine Raffle Ticket Sales
Following the collection period, raffle tickets will be sold for $25 from March 24 until midnight on April 17. Every ticket purchased brings us closer to our goal and offers you a chance to win some fantastic wines! The number of draws will be dependent on the number of donations. In past years, we have raffled off 3 lots of 60 bottles each!
Junior High Fun Lunch
Junior High – The next fun lunch for our junior high students will be February 26 and is from Edo Japan. Go to order. https://healthyhunger.ca/
And while you are there, why not order a bag of popcorn to help support our grade 9 farewell celebrations? Popcorn is only $3 per bag and will be delivered on March 17.
Fun Lunch Volunteers Needed
If you have some time next Wednesday at lunch, and have current volunteer clearance, we could still use a few volunteers to come out and help distribute the lunches.
