The December junior high pizza lunch will take place next Wednesday, December 11. Send your junior high kids with cash to get their last pizza slices of 2024! Pizza is $2/slice ($12/pizza) and is sold in the cafeteria over lunch time.

Family Hamper Program – Donate Today!

Thank you to everyone who has so generously stepped up to donate to the Family Hamper Program! Please drop off your donations in front of the office before December 13 (that is next Thursday!!)

If you would still like to sign up to donate there is still time!

This year we are collecting gifts for two families of five. If you wish to participate, please use the Signups to select the item(s) you wish to donate. Please note:

  • Donated items should be of new with tags. No used items.
  • Unwrapped items should be labelled and dropped off in the bins school by end of day on December 12. Students at the school will help with the wrapping.
  • Tax receipts are available from Evenstart (see signup for information).

Band Fundraiser – 50/50 Raffle

The Elboya Band Parent Council is running a 50/50 fundraiser until December 19. The pot is already at $3245 (winner takes half). Support your School - Volunteers Needed

There are some important roles on the School Council that are currently sitting vacant.

Fundraising Society President – A president is needed for the Elboya School Fundraising Society (ESFS). The ESFS runs all fundraising events (e.g.: apple sales, casino, cheque writing campaigns) and oversees the distribution of funds to the school and for school council activities. The President is critical in driving these activities, planning future fundraisers, and helping “manage the money” for the council.

School Council Vice-Chair – Work with the School Council Chair on school council sponsored activities. Provide support during meetings, for the various sponsored activities and in helping decide what events the Council will support.

Family Dance Coordinators – We would love to offer up another family dance for the elementary school community next year but need organizers for the event. The role is currently vacant. Please reach out if you would like to help lead a committee to make this event happen! If you are worried about doing this alone, why not grab a friend and organize the event as co-coordinators?
