It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through May! With less than two months of school remaining, there’s still plenty of energy and excitement in the air. Students and families can look forward to a wide range of engaging activities. This week alone, students will take part in flag football and our spring market. In the weeks ahead, families are invited to attend a student wellness seminar and an evening celebration highlighting the amazing work happening in our complementary/option courses. There’s still so much to enjoy and experience before we wrap up the school year!

A friendly reminder to parents that there is no school on Friday due to our upcoming non-instructional day.

Flag Football Program

This week our K-5 students are fortunate enough to be participating in the Calgary Classroom Crew Flag Football Program during their PE Blocks this week. This activity will run outside. Please ensure your student is prepared for the weather.

Spring Market

The Enterprise and Innovation 7 class will be hosting their Spring Market in the Main Gym over the lunch hour the week of May 12 - May 15 (while supplies last).  Students have been working hard this term to create a variety of food, beverages, jewelry and other items to sell and will donate all proceeds to AARCS (Alberta Animal Rescue Crew Society).  Monday May 12 students in Grades 1-5 will be invited to come and shop at the Market.  Tuesday May 13 students in Grades 6-9 will be invited to come and shop at the Market.  Wednesday May 14 and Thursday May 15 (while supplies last) the Market will continue to be open to ALL students who are looking for a deal as we try to sell off our inventory.  It is cash only sales at the Market!

May 15- Student Voice Council & Well-Being Action Team Luncheon

We are pleased to host a celebratory lunch in honour of our Student Voice Representatives and members of the Well-Being Action Team. These dedicated students have generously given up many of their lunch hours to lead initiatives that enhance the well-being and spirit of our entire school community. Their commitment and leadership have made a meaningful impact, and we are proud to recognize and celebrate their contributions.
