As a French Immersion school, we’re excited to celebrate French Week—a special opportunity to highlight the beauty and importance of one of Canada’s official languages. This celebration not only enriches our students’ learning experience but also reinforces the value of becoming bilingual in today’s diverse and interconnected world. Don’t forget, this is a 4 day week for students as there is no school on Friday.
School Council ~ Thursday, Apr. 17, 6:30 pm
This week we will be having two special guests. Trustee Vukadinovic and the new principal of Windsor Park, Christine McCrory will be in attendance. School Council is such a valuable part of the school community! Their dedication, support, and collaboration help create a strong bridge between families and the school. Whether it's organizing events, fundraising, or sharing ideas, they play a huge role in enriching student experiences and building a warm, welcoming environment for everyone. Parents are welcome to join anytime. Hope to see you on Thursday.
Vive la Francophonie! French Week – Apr. 14-17
Elboya will be celebrating Semaine de la Francophonie from April 14 - 17 with a week full of exciting cultural activities! Students can look forward to a French music competition, fun trivia questions, a tasty cabane à sucre experience for all classes, photo ops with Bonhomme and a special Career Day for French program students featuring guest speakers. Looking forward to celebrating French language and culture together!
Culture Day – Apr. 24
We’re excited to celebrate Culture Day on April 24! This special day is a chance for us to honour and celebrate the rich diversity within our school community. Students are invited to wear cultural attire that reflects their heritage and identity. Culture Day is a meaningful way for students to share, learn and appreciate the traditions that make each of us unique—and our school stronger together. We look forward to a vibrant day of connection and pride!
We are looking for 2 parents to help with table clean up from 1-1:15 pm. If you can support us, please email Ms. Kryczka, (sokryczka@cbe.ab.ca).
