Trust everyone had a great long weekend!  Each year, schools have a variety of forms that parents / legal guardians / independent students are required to complete or review and update, some of which are paper and others online.
We appreciate the time you are taking to complete these valuable forms for the school.

School Engage & Required Forms

In CBE, the forms in an online format (SchoolEngage) are:

Demographic Verification - 2026-27

Citizenship Information Update - 2026-27

Annual Authorization - 2026-27 –

SchoolEngage is one of the applications found in your MyCBE account. This is the same account used to pay fees, view academic information, book school conferences, register to volunteer etc.  If you do not have a MyCBE account, click Create a MyCBE Account on the MyCBE page. For online help, refer to MyCBE - Creating an Account (includes instructions and a video).  Forms are due by Monday, Sep. 14.

2026-27 Fee & Waiver Information

If you are experiencing financial hardship, please apply for a central fee waiver. This waiver must be completed for a student to be considered for a school-based waiver of fees.   School fees have not been posted yet.  We will notify families once the fee payments can be made.

Terry Fox Run – September 18

Our school will be participating in the annual Terry Fox Run on Friday, September 18. This event is a wonderful opportunity for our students to come together, stay active, and carry on Terry’s legacy of hope and perseverance. Families are invited to support our fundraising efforts by donating online through our school’s page: https://schools.terryfox.ca/98307. Thank you for helping us keep Terry’s dream alive!

Lead Program Opportunity

The City of Calgary offers a certification leadership program for youth Grades 7 - 12 called Leadership, Empowerment, Achieving a Difference (LEAD). This program has two requirements.

1. Completion of 9 pre-determined modules, on various aspects of leadership and

2. Completion of 20 hours of practicum experience, to put learned leadership skills into practice.

This program will be offered after school at Elboya, starting October 5.  This is not a CBE sponsored program, rather the City of Calgary is renting the school space.  See information about the program and package registration attached.

Early Pick-Up & UBER

At approximately 3 pm daily, the school experiences a high volume of phone calls from parents wanting to pick up their child for appointments and after school activities.  To help the school, please organize the pick-up with your student and send the office an email ahead of time.  If your student will have a recurring appointment, notify the office and we will ensure the student is ready for pick up.  Pre-planning really helps avoid disruption to learning.

Also, UBER drivers are not to Drop Off or Pickup at the front of the school. Please have them use the Hug & Go address on 47 Ave SW as the Drop Off & Pickup.  The front of the school is reserved for school busses. Thank you for your support.

Wishing families a great week!
