Mr. Davis’ research‑based guidance offered practical strategies for supporting students in making thoughtful, responsible choices online and managing technology use effectively. We encourage all families to explore the resources shared below to continue these important conversations at home.

 

 

Spring Market 

The Enterprise and Innovation Class had a successful Spring Market and were excited to share all of their products with the students. Thank you for all of those who attended and purchased items! Stay tuned for an update on how much was raised for the Animal Rescue Foundation!


 PE:

This week we are going to complete timing and measuring our track and field events. We will have 1200m, 100m, and shot put for most classes.
For some of our track and field athletes we will also try and get a 60m hurdles time and high jump score.

With the constantly changing weather our plans are going to flexible to advantage of warmer weather for sprinting events and outdoor field events.
Please come prepared for running, jumping and throwing everyday this week!

We are finishing measuring and timing events in class. If we need an additional tryout we will post it in the classroom and announce it in class.

Mark Tewksbury is coming to Elboya!

 Mr. Tewksbury is an extremely talented public speaker. He often speaks about his athletic career and training, as well as overcoming different obstacles in his life. General themes of his presentation are perseverance, resilience and mentality in sport.  We are fortunate to have him speak to our Gr. 7-9 students on May 14.

 

MyBlueprint Family Webinar Series

​MyBlueprint is offering a free 2-part webinar series for families of Grade 9-12 students, to build clarity, confidence, and a plan for post-secondary success. This series to support families and teens with transitioning from high school to post-secondary.

Fee Payments

Parents are encouraged to check their student’s MyCBE Account regularly to ensure that there are no outstanding fees.  Centralized Fee Waiver No child is ever denied access to an education in the Calgary Board of Education (CBE) because of an inability to pay. If you can't afford the fees, there are several ways to qualify for a central fee waiver. Waiver applications for the current school year are found online through your MyCBE account and are available from the start of the school year until June 30. If you have questions, please call the school office.
