We welcome families today and hope you enjoyed a week of relaxation and fun. The week before Spring Break was a truly special one at our school, and it would be remiss not to acknowledge the outstanding success of our drama performance, volleyball playoffs, and Wellness Afternoon. Events like these require the collective efforts of many and they highlight the enriching, high‑quality opportunities our students experience each day. We are deeply grateful for our dedicated teaching team, whose commitment and collaboration make these moments possible.

Band Bottle Drive - April 11

With a top-up donation, we met our goal of $1,000 for the last band bottle drive! Please start collecting your refundables once more for our final band bottle drive this year on Saturday, April 11. If you would like to deliver bottle drive flyers this week OR you'd like to volunteer on April 11, please email me: lubates@cbe.ab.ca.  Thank you!

Our next three-week rotation will be pickleball, floor hockey and flexibility/core strength. Due to weather our field hockey module is postponed.

Badminton Tryouts: Calendar - Elboya School

 New Date: Culture Day - Apr. 9

Students are looking forward to celebrating Elboya’s 2nd Annual Culture Day. This year, we will follow a format similar to last year. Students will sign up to bring a food item that represents their cultural heritage to share with classmates on Thursday, April 9, during Homeroom, Period 4.  In preparation for this event, classes have been intentionally learning about cultural diversity—exploring what makes us unique as individuals and what we share in common as a school community.  During the lunch hour on April 9, students will gather in the gym to showcase their cultures through activities such as games, music, literature, and other cultural expressions. Parent support will be needed during the lunch hour, and we appreciate your assistance in helping make this event a success.  If you can volunteer from 12-1:30, please email Ms. Sarah (sokryczka@cbe.ab.ca).
