Spring Market

The Enterprise and Innovation 7 class will be hosting their Spring Market in the Main Gym over the lunch hour the week of April 27 - April 30 (while supplies last).  Students have been working hard this term to create a variety of food, beverages, fidget toys and other items to sell and will donate all proceeds to ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation). 

• Monday April 27, students in Grades 4-6 will be invited to come and shop at the Market. 
• Tuesday April 28 students in Grades 7-9 will be invited to come and shop at the Market. 
• Wednesday April 29 and Thursday April 30 (while supplies last)
• Market will continue to be open to ALL students who are looking for a deal as we try to sell off our inventory. 
• It is cash only sales at the Market!

Online Safety Presentation - April 29

The Elboya Parent Council is happy to announce it will be hosting an online session with Paul Davis – a well-known expert in online safety – on April 29.  The title of his presentation is Online Safety: Generation Alpha and specifically geared for parents with children up to grade 6.

Additionally, the Gr. 4-6 students will be participating in a virtual presentation focused on responsible digital citizenship as part of Mr. Davis’ contract.

Physical Education News

During the past week we have practiced our field events (long jump, high jump, discus and shotput). This week we are going to start to measure and time our events. With the constantly changing weather our plans are going to flexible to advantage of warmer weather for sprinting events and outdoor field events.

Please come prepared for running, jumping, and throwing every day this week!

Badminton Practices: Calendar - Elboya School

Fee Payments

Parents are encouraged to check their student’s MyCBE Account regularly to ensure that there are no outstanding fees.  Centralized Fee Waiver No child is ever denied access to an education in the Calgary Board of Education (CBE) because of an inability to pay. If you can't afford the fees, there are several ways to qualify for a central fee waiver. Waiver applications for the current school year are found online through your MyCBE account and are available from the start of the school year until June 30. If you have questions, please call the school office.
