With the arrival of warmer weather, we are pleased to see students enjoying outdoor learning and play. We kindly remind families to ensure that students continue to follow our school dress guidelines while at school. Spring Market

The Enterprise and Innovation 7 class will be hosting their Spring Market in the Main Gym over the lunch hour the week of April 27 - April 30 (while supplies last).  Students have been working hard this term to create a variety of food, beverages, fidget toys and other items to sell and will donate all proceeds to ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation). 

• Monday April 27, students in Grades 4-6 will be invited to come and shop at the Market. 
• Tuesday April 28 students in Grades 7-9 will be invited to come and shop at the Market. 
• Wednesday April 29 and Thursday April 30 (while supplies last)
• Market will continue to be open to ALL students who are looking for a deal as we try to sell off our inventory. 
• It is cash only sales at the Market!

Online Safety Presentation - April 29

The Elboya Parent Council is happy to announce it will be hosting an online session with Paul Davis – a well-known expert in online safety – on April 29.  The title of his presentation is Online Safety: Generation Alpha and specifically geared for parents with children up to grade 6.

Physical Education News

We will be starting two weeks of track and field for PE this week. Everyone will get the opportunity to practice our technical throwing and jumping events and work on some running skills. We will then compete in each of events over the rest of the module. We will use our results to help us make our track team as well as tryouts if required. Make sure you are prepared with proper footwear and clothing you can run, jump and throw in. More information about joining the school team will be given during class and posted here.

2026 Track Events

• 100m, 200m, 800m, 1200m
• Long Jump, High Jump
• Discus (grade 7-9 only), Shot Put
• 60m Hurdles, 4x100m relay (not being completed in class)

Our track meet day for the school team is May 29.
