Effective immediately, Elboya School will no longer require an overflow school designation. The school is expected to be able to accommodate all students from its designated attendance area for the 2025-26 school year and beyond. Additionally, a lottery will not be required for incoming students in the 2026-27 school year.

Since June 2023, Elboya School has been at capacity, and students who could not be accommodated were designated to either Chinook Park School or Woodman School, depending on their grade. On February 11, 2025, the Board of Trustees approved the relocation of CBE Home Education from Windsor Park School to Bel-Aire School. As a result of this decision, Windsor Park School will reopen as a regular elementary program for the 2025-26 year and beyond. Elboya School will operate as a regular and French Immersion program middle school for the 2025-26 year and beyond.

As a result of re-opening Windsor Park School as a regular program school and the grade configuration changes at Elboya School, Elboya School will no longer be in an overflow situation.

What does this mean if my child has been overflowed?

All students that have been overflowed to either Chinook Park or Woodman School from Elboya School have been offered a place at either Windsor Park or Elboya School.

Will transportation be provided for overflowed students?

Transportation Services will end on June 26, 2026 from the overflowed areas to Chinook Park School and Woodman School.

Thank you for your understanding as we make these changes to our school system to ensure student success.
