As we head into fall break, we want to recognize our hardworking students for their dedication and growth so far this term. This break is a perfect time for them to reset, relax, and recharge. We’re excited to see everyone return refreshed and ready to continue learning. From athletic victories, outstanding performances in band, to impressive results in math contests, our students continue to excel and represent our school with dedication and passion.

With only 2 days of school (Nov. 14/15) next week, the next weekly message to parents will be on Nov. 18.

Remembrance Day Ceremonies

Thank you to the many parents that shared photos of family heroes that contributed to the freedom we know and value. We will be gathering as a community on Thursday to observe our Remembrance Day ceremonies.

Commemorating Nov. 7 – Dress in Black & Red

Students are invited to wear black and/or red in support of Remembrance Day.

Traffic & Student Safety

Let’s place emphasis over student safety rather than convenience. Please do not park on crosswalks, make u-turns on main roads or use the Staff Parking lot to drop off your student.

Save the Date for the Scholastic Book Fair

The Scholastic Book fair is coming our way! We are so excited!  Please save the dates for the Scholastic Book Fair November 26 to November 29. The Fair Preview Day for students will be during school hours on Tuesday November 26, book sales will start on Wednesday November 27 and run to Friday November 29 at lunchtime.

If you would like to volunteer to help at the book fair, please contact our Library Assistant Lauren Kruger at Lekruger@cbe.ab.ca.

We will need help setting up and taking down the fair. We will also need help with sales during the day on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, and also during parent teacher interviews on Thursday evening.

Thank you for all your support.

Attached you will find the Child and Youth Well-Being, Family & Caregiver Fall Series resources. There are both live sessions that parents/guardians can sign up for and recorded sessions for them to access when convenient.
