Parent Teacher Conferences
Please take the time to meet with your student’s teacher(s) as a check-in to learn about their progress and how you can support them at home. Given the recent teacher strike and its impact on assessment timelines, teachers are continuing to update and analyze student data. While they will share available evidence of learning, we ask that families keep in mind that assessment information may still be in progress at this time. The focus of conferences will be on reconnecting, understanding current progress and planning meaningful next steps to support each student’s continued growth.
We look forward to seeing you and your child at conferences and continuing our shared work in supporting their success.
Book Fair
Don’t forget to check it out on Thursday during the P-T Conferences. If you’re able to volunteer, please sign up here: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D4BA4A82DA2F4C16-60421348-elboya

Winter Market
The Enterprise and Innovation 7 class will be hosting their Winter Market in the Main Gym over the lunch hour the week of December 1st - December 4th (while supplies last). Students have been working hard this term to create a variety of food, beverages, candies and other items to sell and will donate all proceeds to the Veteran's Food Bank. Monday, December 1, students in Grades 4-6 will be invited to come and shop at the Market during the second half of lunch. Tuesday, December 2, students in Grades 7-9 will be invited to come and shop at the Market. Wednesday, December 3 and Thursday, December 4th (while supplies last) the Market will continue to be open to ALL students who are looking for a deal as we try to sell off our inventory. It is cash only sales at the Market!
Candy Grams
Candy Grams are back! Students will have the opportunity to purchase candy grams for their friends and classmates again this year! Candygram tags will be available for purchase at the Winter Market only this year, as we are being mindful of missed class time due to the strike. Candygrams will be $1.00 each and will be delivered to students on Monday, December 15th. All proceeds will be added to the Winter Market donation to the Veteran’s Foodbank.

Grade 4-6 LEGO Lunch Club!
We’re excited to announce that we will be launching a LEGO Lunch Club for Grade 4-6 students, starting December 11th. The club will run Thursdays at lunch in the Art Room through the winter months.
This club will offer a fun, inclusive space where students can build, create, collaborate, and enjoy a warm indoor option during the colder months. Activities will include free-build time, themed challenges, and team builds.
If any families have gently used LEGO pieces they’re willing to donate to help build our collection, we would be very grateful.
More details about sign-ups and the first meeting will be shared soon!
